Now drink water, don’t drink water. All the crazy stuff. They really have no clue what they’re talking about. They’re just trying to sell you some kind of product.

Two things today. First, I hope you listened to my new opening intro. I was pretty excited about it. I was going to roll it out for the new year, but I got so excited that I rolled it out early. Today is the first day it’s live.

Second, today I’m announcing something really powerful. It’s called the Choice Weight Analysis. It’s something I built, and it takes under five minutes. It gives you a clear look at the choices driving your weight.

No dieting rules. No nonsense. You get a score, the patterns holding you back, and the first steps to fix them. If you want to know why you’re stuck and what to do next, start there.

You can find it on my website, jonathanressler.com. Just look for the button that says Choice Weight Analysis.

So here we are in December, and I figured let’s talk about the end of the year. December shows up and suddenly everybody becomes a strategist. People start announcing their big January plans like they’re launching a company.

They talk about how everything will change once the calendar flips. They act like January comes with magical upgrades. Meanwhile, they’re in the kitchen inhaling cookies and convincing themselves it doesn’t count because it’s December.

Here’s the truth. Nothing special happens on January first. Your metabolism doesn’t reset. Your cravings don’t disappear. Your schedule doesn’t suddenly cooperate.

The only thing that changes is the pile of excuses you built over the last four weeks.

December exposes who wants results and who wants a storyline.

The storyline is always the same. They’re waiting for the perfect start, the clean break, the blank slate. In reality, they’re avoiding responsibility.

The holiday season becomes a month-long performance of I’ll fix it next year.

Diets make this easy. Diets give people rules they never plan to follow. Diets remove responsibility and offer a ready-made excuse when things fall apart.

That’s why people love them. Diets let people feel productive without creating real change.

Stop dieting. Start choosing exists for this exact moment.

Choosing forces honesty about how you eat and how you live right now. Not after the party. Not after the decorations come down. Not once life calms down.

Choosing demands action inside the chaos, because that’s where real life happens.

If you choose well in December, everything after December becomes simpler. If you wait for calm, you’ll never start.

I work with people who want to lose weight to get healthy. People who want lower blood pressure, more energy, and control of their life.

They don’t want ripped abs. They don’t want hours in the gym. They want health and control inside a real life.

Momentum comes from choices you make today, not promises you make for next month.

When you choose now, you walk into January already in motion.

While everyone else is in a sugar fog, you’re already ahead because you refused to wait for the calendar.

If you really want change, you start in the mess. You start in the stress. You start when every excuse is right in front of you.

December is not an obstacle. It’s a mirror.

It shows how you behave when life gets busy. It shows how fast you surrender control.

You’re not struggling because December is hard. You’re struggling because you pretend December removes responsibility.

Food doesn’t control you. Events don’t control you. Stress doesn’t control you.

What you’re seeing is start-tomorrow thinking up close. Tiny moments where you hand control to whatever is easiest.

You skip breakfast. You avoid planning. You say yes to everything. Then you blame the month.

The month didn’t do anything. You did.

You’re not making exceptions. You’re building habits.

December is a four-week crash course in inconsistency.

Choosing cuts through this. Choosing stops the performance and forces ownership in the exact moment excuses get loud.

Choosing says travel doesn’t erase judgment. Stress doesn’t run your life. Leftovers aren’t the boss of you.

When you choose well in December, you walk into January with momentum everyone else wishes they had.

Now let’s talk about the cost of delaying choices.

Your energy tanks because your routine collapses. Skipping meals and overeating at night wrecks your system.

You’re not broken. You’re underfueled and overwhelmed.

Cravings thrive when your blood sugar is a mess. You create the trap and then act surprised when it snaps.

This pattern follows you into January. You don’t start fresh. You start in recovery.

Delayed choices stack. One becomes ten. Ten become a month.

Every broken promise damages your confidence.

Momentum changes everything, and momentum only comes from choosing now.

Here’s a simple system. One eating choice a day that keeps you steady. One movement choice. Ten minutes is enough. One nighttime boundary that protects your progress.

Track those choices for ten days.

You’ll see more progress in ten days of choosing than a month of dieting.

Now let’s fix December.

Not with a diet. Not with a color-coded chart.

You fix December with choosing.

Step one. One anchor choice. For me, it was breakfast.

Overnight oats kept me steady. Not exciting. Not trendy. Just effective.

Step two. One environmental change. Clear the counters. Freeze leftovers. Remove friction.

Step three. One nighttime rule. Mine was no added sugar after dinner.

These three choices create a system built for real life.

People who choose now walk into January already in control.

January fixes no one.

Momentum does.

This is why I built the Choice Weight Analysis. It takes under five minutes. It’s free. It exposes the patterns killing your momentum.

This is also why I created my free weekly tips. One sharp idea every Wednesday. No fluff.

And my book, Shut Up and Choose, is not a diet book. It’s a guide to real change.

It’s the system I used to lose 140 pounds and keep it off.

I’ve helped more than 300 people lose over 13,000 pounds collectively without diets, pills, shots, or starvation.

If you’re ready for that level of transformation, connect with me.

So here’s your decision point.

You can wait for January, or you can build momentum right now.

January doesn’t fix anyone.

Momentum does.

So shut up and choose.
